It’s cool if you want to actually think/hope for that. But please don’t take my post about Rose, and reblog it turning it into something about River. I respect that you prefer River, so I’d hope that you’d respect that I prefer Rose. Also you changed the title of my post, which I’m pretty sure if bad tumblr etiquette…

Actually, I don’t think that’s going to happen.  I don’t think the new character is any existing character’s child.  I also don’t think a made up post on imdb is a fact from the show producers, any more than it was a fact when people were posting it’s the Doctor’s daughter Jenny regenerated.

Also, your post did not have a title/subject line, when I hit reblog; the title was blank.  I also didn’t disrespect you by suggesting a different surname, just like you didn’t disrespect the people who have already proven that rumored name or the character’s creators by turning her actual creation and existence to something about Rose.

In actuality, I prefer the rumor that she is named Clara after Elisabeth Sladen and possibly Stone as a surname after Nicholas Courtney.  That would be a huge honor for the character and a fitting tribute to two people who hugely impacted the Doctor across time, and gave us all — show professionals and the audience — so, so much.
