I love this scene!  That River gets to be with her family when we didn’t think she could. And Amy has her own diary!

But now… we find out that, like so much of her life, she’s not going to have this.  It’s only a snatched few precious times, because she’s about to lose her parents forever, won’t see them grow old, no stopping in for Christmas or birthdays or enjoy a moment with them.  She only has this little window to enjoy when they know she is theirs.
